Ted Fricano knows the restaurant business. As the owner of Fricano Place, which includes Fricano’s Muskegon Lake, home of the ‘Best Pizza in Michigan’, he still uses the original recipe his beloved father, Gus, created back in 1949 for authentic Italian pizza with its unique blend of cheeses, spices, and fresh ingredients. And he’s maintained the warm, inviting atmosphere that his patrons have loved for years.
Never one to rest on his laurels, TED’s success inspired him to try something new. He purchased the long standing Vic’s Restaurant in Spring Lake and established TED’S, a distinctly different restaurant with its own unique fresh, American cuisine that doesn’t include pizza. His Southwest fare is California-influenced, with an emphasis on fresh, wholesome, and hearty.
Ted Fricano brings a very special philosophy to his new restaurant. “With the fast pace of everyday modern life and technology, we sometimes forget to talk, to conversate, and enjoy heart to heart dialog with family and friends.” Ted believes that eating good food in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere can be the best way to foster good conversation and build stronger bonds with the most important people in our lives. That’s the TED’S philosophy: Talk. Eat. Drink.
